Chicago Ready To Make Major League Baseball History? |

The major league baseball playoffs are almost upon us and we might be on the track to making major league baseball history. If you look at major league baseball history, you will see a huge void when it comes to all the championships the Chicago Cubs have won. My numbers could be a bit off, but it has probably been 500 years since the Chicago Cubs made it into major league baseball history by wining a title, but it seems that this could be the year. To make it even juicier, their counterparts on the north side of Chicago, the White Soxs, seem to be on their way to the playoffs and getting ready to join the Cubs in making major league baseball history by having an all Chicago world series. But are the hopes of this happening realistic? From the white sox point of view, they are going to have to go through a Tampa Bay team that has been punishing teams all season long—including the Cubs. For the sox to make major league baseball history they are going to have to go back to being the team that won a championship a couple of years ago. The Cubs on the other hand are, for the first time in a while, the favorites to make it to the World Series. We do not know if they will be able to handle the pressure, but if they want to make major league baseball history, they are going to dig deep and forget about the failures in the past. This is the point of all the hard work done in baseball spring training and the regular season. Don’t blow it boys!!
