Last night the National League’s best faced the chosen American League major league baseball players in what turned out to be an extra inning pitching battle. Yankee Stadium was ecstatic to see the top major league baseball players battle it out until the 15th inning when Michael Young (American League) hit a sacrifice fly to push his team to a 4-3 win. By that point (1:40 am) the game had lasted 10 minutes short of 5 hours and half of the crowd had called it quits.

By the 15th inning each side had used up their pitchers and it was coming to that point when something had to happen and then came Young. The National League struck first scoring one run in the fifth and sixth before the American League scored two in the seventh and then each scored a run in the eight.

JD Drew
of the World Champ Boston Red Soxs was responsible for the seventh inning homerun that put two on the board for the American League. He in turn came out of the game with the All-Star MVP. This has been the latest baseball news.
