major league baseball playersI am certain that all fans of major league baseball have their own favorite major league baseball players, and why not, that is half the fun of enjoying the sport. I personally have a few favorite major league baseball players that I have always loved, and one of my favorite major league baseball players is long since retired, Paul Molitor, who used to play outfield for the Milwaukee Brewers when I was a kid, and was also known to be quite a power hitter.

But there is actually a funny story surrounding this major league baseball player’s career. One day when I was at an afternoon game in Milwaukee, Paul was in the outfield minding his own business. He looked up at the score board and let out a huge yawn, and at the same time a rather large moth flew into his mouth—all of the while this was captured on the large TV that they fly at all baseball games. Paul swallowed the moth and got really sick and had to leave the game. Till this day I will never not think that is hilarious.
