latest baseball news, major league baseball players  Earlier I posted about the head MLB commissioners working to cut a deal to bring instant replay into baseball. According to the latest baseball news, it looks like an agreement has been reached. With the help of league umpires a deal was struck yesterday to bring instant replay into the game but it still hasn’t been decided when it will start.

The latest baseball news has stated that the hope is August for when the systems will be up and running for all teams. Apparently, stadiums have already begun to install the equipment. Considering there is only a week and a half left in the month they must be working fast. Replays will only become part of game when there is a question to whether or not a ball went foul or over the wall.

I was hoping that it would be used to call close plays at the bags or plate but I guess the umps feel like they’re doing a good enough job at that. Both sides have agreed that more work has to be done to instant replay rules before anything is set in stone but it is coming. Major League baseball players must be happy.
